Terms & Conditions

These terms explain how Bera Software manages website design, development, payments, delivery, ownership and post-delivery support.

Last updated: 6 September 2026 Bera Software

These Terms and Conditions apply to website design, development and related digital services provided by Bera Software. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Bera Software, while “you”, “your” and “client” refer to the person or organisation purchasing our services.

01

Scope of Work

Website design, development and related services will be provided according to the scope, features, deliverables and requirements mutually agreed before the project begins.

Any feature, page, integration, redesign or other work requested outside the agreed scope will be considered additional work and may require a separate quotation, payment and delivery timeline.

02

Quotation and Project Approval

The project will be based on the approved proposal, quotation, written discussion or confirmed list of requirements.

If a project-specific quotation or written agreement contains terms different from this page, the project-specific written terms will apply to that project.

03

Payment Terms

An advance payment is mandatory before work begins. The amount and payment stages will be specified in the applicable quotation or proposal.

The remaining balance must be paid within seven days of project completion and before final website handover, deployment or transfer of administrative access.

If a payment becomes overdue, we may pause the project, deployment, support or final handover until the outstanding amount has been received. Applicable taxes will be charged where required.

04

Project Timeline

Any delivery timeline shared by us is based on the agreed scope and assumes that content, feedback, access and approvals will be provided on time.

Delays caused by late content, incomplete information, delayed feedback, change requests, approval delays or unavailable third-party services will automatically extend the delivery timeline.

05

Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for supplying accurate and complete text, images, logos, business details, product information, login access and other required materials within the agreed time.

You must have the legal right or appropriate permission to use every piece of content, trademark, image, video, document or other material supplied to us.

Bera Software will not be responsible for delays, claims or losses arising from inaccurate information, missing materials or content supplied without proper permission.

06

Revisions and Changes

The project includes only the revisions agreed in the quotation or project discussion. Revisions must remain within the originally approved scope.

Major design changes, repeated changes after approval, new functionality, additional pages or changes to completed work may be treated as additional work and charged separately.

07

Domain, Hosting and Third-Party Services

Domain registration, hosting, premium software, paid plugins, API services, payment gateways, email services and other third-party charges are not included unless specifically mentioned in the quotation.

Third-party products and services remain subject to their own pricing, policies, availability and technical limitations. We are not responsible for outages, policy changes, account suspension, price changes or failures caused by an external provider.

08

Ownership and Website Access

Final website access and ownership of the approved project-specific deliverables will be transferred only after full and final payment has been received.

Third-party software, stock assets, fonts, plugins and licensed materials remain subject to their original licence terms.

Bera Software retains ownership of its pre-existing tools, reusable code components, internal processes and general development methods used while completing the project.

09

Cancellation and Client Inactivity

If a project is cancelled after work has begun, the advance payment will be non-refundable. Payment may also be required for completed work exceeding the value of the advance.

If we receive no response, content, feedback or approval from you for 30 consecutive days, the project may be placed on hold, archived or treated as closed.

Resuming an inactive project will depend on our current availability and may require a revised timeline or additional charges where further work is necessary.

10

Review, Approval and Delivery

You are responsible for reviewing the website, content, contact details, forms, links and agreed functionality before giving final approval.

Once the approved work is complete and the outstanding payment has been received, the website will be handed over or deployed according to the agreed arrangement.

11

Support and Maintenance

Limited technical support will be available for one year from the date of final website handover. This support covers faults directly related to the originally delivered and agreed work.

Support does not include new pages, content updates, redesigns, new functionality, third-party changes, hosting problems, malware recovery or issues caused by modifications made by the client or another service provider.

Ongoing maintenance, security monitoring, backups and future updates may require a separate maintenance plan or quotation.

12

Performance, Results and Liability

We will perform the agreed services with reasonable professional care. However, we cannot guarantee specific sales, leads, enquiries, search-engine rankings or other business results unless expressly agreed in writing.

We are not responsible for losses caused by third-party outages, cyberattacks, client actions, incorrect information, unauthorised modifications or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

13

Portfolio and Project Showcase

Unless confidentiality has been agreed in writing, Bera Software may display the completed website, business name, publicly available screenshots and a general description of the work in its portfolio, case studies and promotional materials.

Confidential business data, private login information and non-public client information will not be intentionally published.

14

Acceptance of These Terms

Confirmation of the project, written approval of the quotation or proposal, or payment of the advance amount will be treated as acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree with any term, please discuss it with us and obtain written clarification before confirming the project or making the advance payment.

Need clarification?

Discuss the terms before your project begins.

We believe clear expectations create better and more successful working relationships.
